Each week during the 2024 MLS season, Soccer America is selecting the three young American stars of the week, under-23 players (born on or after Jan. 1, 2001) who stood out over the previous week. 

Week May 13-19:
1. Cameron Harper (NY Red Bulls), 5 pts. Scored in both away games, the 4-1 win at D.C. United and from distance for the lone goal in the 2-1 loss at NYCFC, to give him three goals in 2024, all in the last three games.

2. Jack McGlynn (Philadelphia), 3 pts. Assisted in both games, the 2-1 loss to NYCFC and 3-0 win over New England, to give him assists in three straight games and goal contributions in five straight games.

3. Tayvon Gray (NYCFC), 1 pt. The former U.S. U-17 who now plays for Jamaica hit a low cross from the right side that found Mounsef Bakrar for the winner in the 2-1 victory over the Red Bulls.
