Jurgen Klopp leaves Liverpool with a host of records to his name, including three top-scoring seasons at the club in all competitions.

The Reds were home to both prestigious managers and players, those who carved their names into the club’s history.

Klopp is one of those who transformed the club from a team that wanders outside of the European places to a team that you expect to lift silverware and compete at the top of continental football.

His teams have been entertaining from the start, knowing how to find the net regularly – so much so that he is responsible for three of Liverpool’s best ever goalscoring campaigns.

The 2021/22 season is at the top, with 147 goals scored, a number that will be hard to eclipse – although 2023/24 ended it with 142 successful shots!

To round out the top three, you have to turn the clock back to 1985/86 when Kenny Dalglish was in charge of the away side and led the Reds to a domestic double.

The third and final season on this list belonging to Klopp was the electric 2017/18 campaign, in the club’s history it ranks fourth.

In each of those Klopp seasons, Salah was the top scorer and he scored 100 goals – that’s 24 percent of the total in the three seasons combined!

Of course, the modern era opens the door to more goals due to the fact that clubs are playing more games than ever before, but it’s still a sign of what Klopp gave us at Anfield.

Of any manager in the club’s history, only Tom Watson and Bill Shankly have overseen more goals – we certainly had fun during the German’s nine campaigns on Merseyside!

Arne Slot leaves a lot to live up to, but more than anything, memories are not lacking when it comes to reminiscing about our time under Klopp.
