Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu spoke of the team’s “special relationship” with Magnussen in the statement announcing his departure, adding that he hoped to “find a way to keep working together in some capacity”.

As such, Magnussen remains focused on continuing the squad’s recent positive trajectory during his last races with the team, with the Dane hopeful that they can keep their “good trend” going in the latter half of 2024.
Haas currently hold seventh place in the constructors’ standings on 27 points, putting them just seven points behind RB in sixth.
